ALTHEA HUME'S GRAPHIC PRODUCTION PORTFOLIO 2023

Reflective Statement

This portfolio's design is inspired by the colour palette and style that I chose for a 'magazine cover design' project that I did for this course. That was one of my favourite assignments -- both the assignment itself and the final product I was able to create for it. Since I don't have an active social media at the moment I wanted to create a portfolio that somewhat recreated that aspect, so a website seemed like a good compromise.

Deciding what to showcase was relatively easy; I don't think it's hard to select work that I was both passionate about creating, and happy with the end result -- I decided to go with a few projects from unit 2, but I took the majority of them from unit 3 as I feel like those assignments display the widest variety of my skills, and are the most technically diverse.

During the creation of this portfolio, I encountered a few minor coding problems and formatting issues (such as image resolution), but I was able to work through them, and hopefully end up with an easily-readable and graphically sound display.
